Concrete Foreman

DACS is seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Foreman to join our team. The Concrete Foreman is responsible for overseeing the field concrete crew and operations for both public and private projects. The primary objective is to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services while adhering to project timelines, budgetary constraints, and safety regulations. Your strong leadership skills and commitment to excellence will be instrumental in driving our success.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure crew strictly adhere to safety procedures and regulations, utilizing appropriate tools and equipment for each task. Take immediate action to correct any unsafe work practices or conditions.
  • Provide overall on-site leadership on construction project sites, offering direction, hiring and termination assistance, training, and guidance to the crew.
  • Plan and coordinate work schedules, including equipment and material requirements, to ensure timely completion of all projects within budgetary constraints.
  • Promote a strong safety culture, leading by example and fostering a safe work environment.
  • Maintain effective communication with Project Managers, Superintendents, clients, contractors, and inspectors to ensure projects are executed according to specifications and standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of work sites, identifying and resolving any issues that may impact the quality or safety of the work.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, labor hours, and equipment utilization.
  • Complete projects in a timely, accurate, and safe manner, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Operate heavy equipment and perform other construction-related duties as required.
  • Foster a team-oriented atmosphere within the crew, promoting collaboration and professional growth.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure it is in optimal working condition and complies with safety standards. Work closely with the dispatcher to ensure the fleet is always ready for operation.
  • Cultivate, train, and develop employees to create opportunities for internal advancement.
  • Manage employee issues as they arise, working closely with the HR department as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting plans, specifications, and blueprints.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate degree or vocational training in a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in concrete and asphalt paving and maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete and asphalt installation, repair, and maintenance techniques, as well as safety regulations and procedures.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate equipment and vehicles used in concrete and asphalt paving and maintenance.
  • Willingness to travel for work during weekdays or weekends, as required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift and carry heavy objects.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be capable of engaging in physical activities that require considerable use of your arms, legs, and whole body, including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.

Part Time Sales Assistant

DACS is seeking an experienced Part Time Sales Assistant to join our team in Denver, CO. This position plays a key role in supporting the Sales and Marketing team through administrative, data, and organizational tasks. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and can balance multiple priorities. In this role, you’ll work closely with sales representatives, project managers, and marketing staff to keep records accurate, manage sales assets, and support clear communication with both clients and internal teams.

This position will begin in the office for the first month to provide the right training and support. After that, it will be eligible for a hybrid schedule with up to two remote days per week, though Tuesdays will always be in-office. The role will start part-time and seasonal, with the opportunity to expand into a larger position as business needs grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update data in HubSpot, including lead entry, account assignments, and client/project details.
  • Ensure sales records are accurate and up to date.
  • Create project maps for various service types.
  • Review marketing materials for outdated content and coordinate updates as needed.
  • Organize and maintain sales assets, identifying gaps and ensuring easy team access.
  • Identify and coordinate new photo needs for marketing and sales purposes.
  • Assist with preparing estimates, proposals, and presentations.
  • Coordinate with marketing for campaigns, client outreach, and event support.
  • Track and route incoming leads and inquiries to the appropriate sales team members.
  • Assist with reporting on sales activity, pipeline status, and team metrics.
  • Pitch in on office administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of administrative, sales support, or marketing support experience (construction industry a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with HubSpot or other CRM systems is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Total Compensation:

DACS is seeking an experienced Sales Account Executive to join our team in Denver, CO. This position is responsible for qualifying leads and generating sales by identifying and qualifying project opportunities. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building customer relationships, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth for asphalt and concrete products and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and other relevant organizations.
  • Identify new business opportunities and pursue leads to expand our customer base.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order processing and delivery.
  • Provide technical expertise to customers on products, including specifications and best practices.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers to ensure project profitability.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for business.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to network and stay current on industry developments.

Qualifications:
