Infrared CDL Foreman

Position Overview:

DACS is seeking a skilled and experienced Infrared CDL Foreman. The primary responsibility will be to safely operate our Infrared equipment. Your role is crucial in ensuring that asphalt repair projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standards.

A CDL Class A endorsement is required to be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate Infrared asphalt repair equipment and ensure its proper maintenance.
  • Load propane and asphalt onto the truck and manage these resources effectively.
  • Work closely with the asphalt crew, assisting with additional tasks when the Infrared equipment is not in use.
  • Conduct daily maintenance checks on the equipment and promptly report any mechanical or safety issues to the supervisor.
  • Thoroughly clean the equipment and truck after each shift, including removing all asphalt residue.
  • Drive to and from job sites within the region in a safe and timely manner.
  • Prioritize safety by adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

  • CDL Class A endorsement and a good driving record.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of operating Infrared equipment for asphalt repair.
  • Compliance with all required personal protective equipment (PPE) while on duty, including safety vest, gloves, hard hat, and work boots.
  • Commitment to maintaining safety as the top priority, following company safety rules.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Sitting for prolonged periods while operating equipment.
  • Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling as needed.
  • Frequent lifting or moving of objects weighing up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting or moving of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position with workdays scheduled from Monday through Saturday. Flexibility with last-minute schedule and location changes is essential. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Total Compensation:

Maintenance Diesel Mechanic

DACS is in search of an experienced Maintenance Diesel Mechanic who is dedicated to maintaining equipment and vehicles in top condition. The Maintenance Diesel Mechanic is instrumental in ensuring that all company-owned equipment and vehicles operate efficiently while adhering to strict safety protocols established by CDOT, OSHA, and DACS. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repair inspections by working under or climbing in/on vehicles or equipment.
  • Disassemble, repair, remove, and replace parts of engines, transmissions, drive assemblies, brakes, and clutches of vehicles, equipment, or machinery.
  • Skillfully tune, adjust, and regulate equipment engines, valves, pumps, carburetors, and other mechanical components.
  • Install and service hydraulic and mechanical brake systems, power, track, lubrication, air intake and exhaust, fuel, steering, suspension, cooling, and electrical systems.
  • Carry out lubrication and service tasks for vehicles, equipment, or machinery.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of all maintenance duties performed.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance, service, and repair of equipment in a prompt and effective manner to meet maintenance requirements.
  • May be required to handle general tire maintenance and removal, including replacing tires and wheels on trucks and equipment.
  • Conduct periodic preventative maintenance, including fluid changes, filter replacements, and greasing.
  • Coordinate approved orders for replacement parts with vendors and communicate with the Yard Manager regarding deliveries and associated paperwork.
  • Handle equipment breakdown calls and expedite repairs/parts as necessary.
  • Regularly travel to job sites to inspect equipment, plan repairs, and ensure proper maintenance.

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience as a maintenance mechanic.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license.
  • Heavy equipment such as skid steers and rollers and pavers preferred
  • Class B CDL or ability to obtain CDL preferred
  • Proficiency in diesel and gas engine knowledge.
  • High level of attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment with exceptional time management skills.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Capable of exercising independent judgment and taking initiative without close supervision.
  • Well-versed in all aspects of repairing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
  • Must have own tools to complete repairs.

Total Compensation:

We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in Denver, CO. This pivotal role serves as the primary point of contact and organizational anchor for construction projects. Responsibilities include overseeing project scheduling, implementation, budget management, and ensuring client expectations are met or exceeded. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in the construction industry and a track record of successful project completions.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain consistent communication with project stakeholders, including owners, customers, and subcontractors
  • Interpret and analyze plans to ascertain project requirements and procedures
  • Establish clear project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards
  • Demonstrate effective conflict resolution skills and adeptly handle any arising issues
