DACS is seeking an experienced Sales Account Executive to join our team in Denver, CO. This position is responsible for qualifying leads and generating sales by identifying and qualifying project opportunities. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building customer relationships, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth for asphalt and concrete products and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and other relevant organizations.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in the construction industry and a track record of successful project completions.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain consistent communication with project stakeholders, including owners, customers, and subcontractors
  • Interpret and analyze plans to ascertain project requirements and procedures
  • Establish clear project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards

Asphalt Laborer

Summary:  

We are seeking a dedicated Asphalt Laborer to join the DACS team. The Asphalt Laborer will play a crucial role in the preparation, compaction, laying, and finishing of asphalt surfaces for roads, pathways, and parking lots. This position involves a variety of tasks essential for completing asphalt paving projects, including site preparation, material handling, equipment operation, and mat management. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:  

  • Wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Comply with OSHA, DOT, and company safety regulations.
  • Attend all required safety meetings and training sessions, including toolbox talks.
  • Follow all safety protocols and ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Assist in preparing the worksite, including clearing debris and setting up traffic control measures such as cones and tape.
  • Mark off work areas and direct vehicles and pedestrians safely around the worksite.
  • Prepare and compact the subgrade, including grading to required specifications.
  • Apply tack and assist in laying and leveling asphalt using tools like rakes and shovels.
  • Ensure the even distribution and smooth finish of the asphalt surface.
  • Perform detailed work for asphalt compaction and operate light equipment such as rollers and plate compactors.
  • Perform routine checks, cleaning, and maintenance of all tools, equipment, and trucks.
  • Safely load and unload heavy equipment and materials.
  • Inspect, clean, maintain, and repair equipment; report any malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Work collaboratively to maximize job efficiency and proper sequencing.
  • Ensure high quality work and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist in cutting and removing asphalt as needed.

Qualifications:  

  • Availability for long seasonal hours, including potential holidays and weekends.
  • Punctual, dependable, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse team members.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Willingness to learn and cross train within different teams of DACS pavement services.

Preferred Skills:  

  • Previous asphalt crew experience.
  • Experience operating rollers and skid steers.
  • Paver operator experience.
  • Familiarity with infrared machines.
  • Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Physical Requirements:  

This role involves constant movement, including walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching. You will frequently operate large equipment, small machinery, powered tools, and hand tools. The job requires frequent standing and walking and the ability to lift and move up to and over 60 lbs. You will work outdoors in various weather conditions and be exposed to elements, heavy to moderate noise, and construction equipment.

Maintenance Diesel Mechanic

DACS is in search of an experienced Maintenance Diesel Mechanic who is dedicated to maintaining equipment and vehicles in top condition. The Maintenance Diesel Mechanic is instrumental in ensuring that all company-owned equipment and vehicles operate efficiently while adhering to strict safety protocols established by CDOT, OSHA, and DACS. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repair inspections by working under or climbing in/on vehicles or equipment.
  • Disassemble, repair, remove, and replace parts of engines, transmissions, drive assemblies, brakes, and clutches of vehicles, equipment, or machinery.
  • Skillfully tune, adjust, and regulate equipment engines, valves, pumps, carburetors, and other mechanical components.
  • Install and service hydraulic and mechanical brake systems, power, track, lubrication, air intake and exhaust, fuel, steering, suspension, cooling, and electrical systems.
  • Carry out lubrication and service tasks for vehicles, equipment, or machinery.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of all maintenance duties performed.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance, service, and repair of equipment in a prompt and effective manner to meet maintenance requirements.
  • May be required to handle general tire maintenance and removal, including replacing tires and wheels on trucks and equipment.
  • Conduct periodic preventative maintenance, including fluid changes, filter replacements, and greasing.
  • Coordinate approved orders for replacement parts with vendors and communicate with the Yard Manager regarding deliveries and associated paperwork.
  • Handle equipment breakdown calls and expedite repairs/parts as necessary.
  • Regularly travel to job sites to inspect equipment, plan repairs, and ensure proper maintenance.

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience as a maintenance mechanic.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license.
  • Heavy equipment such as skid steers and rollers and pavers preferred
  • Class B CDL or ability to obtain CDL preferred
  • Proficiency in diesel and gas engine knowledge.
  • High level of attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment with exceptional time management skills.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Capable of exercising independent judgment and taking initiative without close supervision.
  • Well-versed in all aspects of repairing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
  • Must have own tools to complete repairs.

Total Compensation:
